Translated from the Mangalacharan in Sri Gaudiya Darshan
Volume 2, Issue 1, Sunday, 12 August 1956

śrī-guru-gaura-gāndharvā-govinda-sundarāṅghrayaḥ
jayanti sa-gaṇair nityaṁ sarvābhīṣta-pradāyinaḥ

All glories to the feet of Sri Guru, Sri Gaurasundar, Sri Sri Gandharva-Govindasundar, and all of Their associates. They are the fulfillers of all our desires eternally.

gaura-vāg-vigrahaṁ vande gauraṅgaṁ gaura-vaibhavam
gaura-saṅkīrtanonmattaṁ gaura-kāruṇya-sundaram
          ( Sri Sri Prapanna-jivanamrita: 1.2)

I offer my obeisance unto the personified message of Sri Gaura—Sri Gurudev, the golden manifestation of Sri Gaura who is perpetually maddened with the sankirtan of Sri Gaura and who reveals the beauty of the mercy of Sri Gaura.

granthera ārambhe kari ‘maṅgalācharaṇa’
guru, vaiṣṇava, bhagavān,—tinera smaraṇa
tinera smaraṇe haya vighna-vināśana
anāyāse haya nija vāñchhita-pūraṇa

          (Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita: Adi-lila, 1.20–21)

We have made an invocation of auspiciousness at the beginning of this work remembering Guru, Vaishnav, and Bhagavan. By remembering Them, all obstacles are destroyed and easily all of one’s desires are fulfilled.

nikhila-bhuvana-māyā-chhinna-vichchhinna-kartrī

vibudha-bahula-mṛgyā-mukti-mohānta-dātrī
śithilita-vidhi-rāgārādhya-rādheśa-dhānī

vilasatu hṛdi nityaṁ bhakti-siddhānta-vāṇī
(Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj)

The message of Sri Bhakti-siddhanta demolishes the illusion of the entire world, finishes the intellectuals’ mad pursuit of liberation, properly adjusts scriptural regulations, and is an abode of loving attachment for Sri Radha’s Lord. May that message play within our hearts eternally.

May the proclamation of the message of Sri Bhakti-siddhanta be our very life.

May the establishment of Sri Bhakti-siddhanta over all misconceptions bring us eternal welfare.

May the mantrakirtaniyah sada Harih’ spoken by Sri Gaurachandra be the fulfiller of our desires.

May the benevolent Supreme Lord, Sri Guru and the Vaishnavs lovingly fulfil all our desires.
