A Sanskrit song describing the beauty and glory of Sriman Mahaprabhu by Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj.

Śrī-Gaurahari-Kusuma-Stavāṣtakam

Śrīdharo ’dhama kinkaraḥ

guru-rūpa-virājita-nanda-sutaṁ
sutanūnnata-kāñchana-bhūmi-dharam
dharaṇī-jana-tāraṇa-tuṅga-tariṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [1]

Kṛṣṇa shines forth in the form of Śrī Guru. His beautiful body is like a lofty golden mountain. He is the great boat which delivers the people of this Earth. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [1]

vṛṣabhānu-sutā-dyuti-bhāva-vṛtaṁ
vṛta-chitta-nijādbhuta-rūpa-madhum

madhu-vibhrama-nāmada-śaśvad-ariṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [2]

Enveloped by Radharani’s heart and halo, and absorbed in the sweetness of His own wondrous form, He is constantly devoted to distributing the Name’s ecstasy and sweetness. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [2]

uditākhila-gaurava-gauḍa-puraṁ
puraṭojjvala-maṅgala-mūrta-rasam
rasanotsava-kīrtana-kṛṣṇa-hariṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [3]

He is the fully manifest glory of the land of Gauḍa, the auspicious, radiant, golden embodiment of divine ecstasy, the Lord upon whose tongue there is a festival of Kṛṣṇa-kīrtan. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [3]

nija-pārṣada-darśana-datta-śubhaṁ
śubha-nāma-sudhā-kṛta-matta-janam
janatāgha-hara-sthita-chitta-darim
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [4]

Meeting His associates grants all good fortune. He maddens the people with the nectar of His Holy Name and absolves the sins present in the cores of their hearts. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [4]

dadataṁ satataṁ nija-nāma-dhanaṁ
dhana-māna na vai vanitāṁ kavitām
vitaran vraja-bhaktim adatta-charīṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [5]

He constantly distributes the wealth of His Name and Vraja-bhakti—devotion devoid of any motivation for wealth, honour, women, and learning—which had never been given before. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [5]

patitādhama-dīna-dayārdra-hṛdaṁ
hṛdayāśrita-yāchaka-veśa-kṛtam
kṛta-veṣa-yati-śrita-nīla-giriṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [6]

His heart is melted with compassion for the fallen, lowly, and humble. He shelters the mendicants who have surrendered their hearts. He took sannyās and resided in Jagannāth Purī. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [6]

śruti-kīrttita-pūruṣa-rukma-ruchiṁ
ruchi-rāga-niṣevaṇa-dāna-param
paramārtha-purāṇa-vigīta-hariṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [7]

He is the golden-complexioned Lord glorified in the scriptures. He is dedicated to distributing heartfelt, loving devotion. He is sung about in the paramount Purāṇa (Śrīmad Bhāgavatam). Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [7]

bahu-nartana-kīrtana-matta-karam
karatāla-mṛdaṅga-vibhaṅga-param!
paramādara-pāmara-śāntipurīṁ
bhaja gaurahariṁ bhaja gauraharim [8]

Absorbed in the beat of the mṛdaṅga and kartāls, He maddens everyone with His grand dancing and chanting! He is the supremely worshippable abode of peace for the fallen. Serve Gaurahari! Serve Gaurahari! [8]
