Yesterday the annual appearance festival for Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Radha-Gopinathjiu was held at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Ashram in Hapaniya Dham, the holy birthplace of Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj. The assembled Vaishnavs headed by Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj, Bhakti Pavan Janardan Maharaj, and Bhakti Kusum Ashram Maharaj discussed the history of this math, constructed under the direction of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj in the time of Srila Sridhar Maharaj, and the manifestation of Sri Sri Radha-Gopinath; the life and Pastimes of Srila Sridhar Maharaj; Srila Sridhar Maharaj’s unique contribution to the Rupanuga sampraday; as well as how Sri Hapaniya Dham should be considered non-different from Varshana in Vrindavan Dham.
